The fourth season of Picobello’s terrace

Like a beloved series that you are happy to see return after a few months away, Stephanie Jenny is opening the fourth terrace season of her trattoria, Le Picobello.

What catches the eye?

Its beautiful black facade, widely glazed on rue des Freres, is best friends with the sun. At lunchtime its large parasols open wide, while in the evening they fold back so the cathedral can be admired.

And on the plate?

Stephanie Jenny explains: « I have a chef who constantly renews herself and builds her dishes around the market. Last week the clams were not good enough to keep linguine alle vongole on the menu, so they were replaced by razor clams. »

Chef Nabila Safsaf is praised for her mastery of timeless Italian classics and for a loyal clientele that comes here for generosity, flavour and the feeling of being at home.

From the daily lunch special to generous fish, meat and pasta dishes, everything is designed to make you want to come back, perhaps after dipping into the fritto misto and leaving with an Andrea Laszlo de Simone tune in your head.
